Montblanc celebrates the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Montblanc has decided to show off its appreciation for the Goodwood Festival of Speed by releasing an outstanding timepiece duo. For the 25th anniversary of the event, Montblanc has unveiled two Cappucino variations of its TimeWalker model, both of which sport an unmistakable vintage look. The watches in question are the TimeWalker Manufacture Chronograph and the TimeWalker Date Automatic, by the way.
So what makes these special anniversary watches stand out? The dials, of course, namely their unique color. The finish on these dials resembles old “panda” dials that started their lives with a crisp shade of white, only to fade to a milk and coffee look as the years went by.
What about availability and pricing?
Well, the TimeWalker Manufacture Chronograph “Cappuccino” comes in a limited edition of just 1,500 units. Each watch costs $5,400, and it boasts a 43mm stainless steel case complemented by a black ceramic bezel. Inside, the movement is a cal. MB 25.10 that flaunts a power reserve of 46 hours.
The TimeWalker Date Automatic is a much more exclusive watch. That’s because its edition is limited to 500 units. However, it’s also quite cheaper at $2,885, and it still boasts the same unique “Cappucino” colorway. Moreover, you’ll also get a unidirectional rotating bezel in glossy black. This bezel can come quite handy if you’re keeping track of lap times regularly. When it comes to size, the case measures in at 41mm, and it houses a cal. MB 24.17 movement.
