Are you excited for the upcoming Cinderella movie by Disney? So are we, and apparently, so are quite a few of the world’s most renowned fashion designers. With the launch of the movie approaching rapidly, Disney reached out to designers such as Jerome Rousseau, Stuart Weitzman, Alexandre Birman, Jimmy Choo, Charlotte Olympia and René Caovilla and asked them to create their own versions of Cinderella’s glass shoe. As you can probably imagine, the results are quite spectacular, to say the least.
A sublime example is Jerome C. Rousseau’s take, which includes a stunning pair of high-heel sandals in glittery midnight blue. The shoes cost $795 and would definitely allow the wearer to stand out in a crowd. Paul Andrew went the classic route and used transparent PVC for his pointed toe ivory suede pumps, which are adorned with exquisite Swarovski crystals. The creative director of Jimmy Choo, Sandra Cho, decorated her Cinderella shoes with 46 embroidered stones, 7,000 Swarovski crystals and a large crystal at the toe. The stilettos flaunt a shimmer leather upper as well as a leather insole and sole, and they come with a very steep price tag of $4,595.
